What are Spider Veins?  

As a part of aesthetic services provided at De Loor Medical, the treatment and reduction of spider veins is something that is directly targeted and addressed in our patients.

These are large, swollen blood vessels that are visible through the skin and commonly develop in the legs.

What causes spider veins?

Spider veins are hereditary, but also can be common in those occupations that involve a lot of standing, obesity, the hormonal changes during pregnancy, puberty, and menopause, birth control pills, and blood clots.

What is the treatment?

Treatment options do include lifestyle changes and surgical intervention in some cases.
